I am recovering from eating disorders, I guess this pregnancy i just need some help, my last pregnancies I was kinda free from it but its really affecting me this preegnancy, I guess, mainly because I lost all my other pregnancy weight and I want to stay the way I am now forever.........

However, for some reason pregnancy affects my weight (I have already put on like 6 lbs and I don't understand why. Ok, I do, I have been bingeing and considering purging again..... I haven't purged but I am getting a lot of thoughts about it.

So, what I am asking for is some help, I would really appreciate a pregnancy buddy. Maybe someone who has experienced this, is experiencing this or someone who simply doesn't want to add on the weight that they have done in previous pregnancies. Someebody who can keep me motivated to watch my diet whilst not allowing it to affect the baby, someone who can help keep me motivated for exercise and someone to vent too and I will hopefully be able to offer the same support back.........

Is that a mad thing to ask...... As I have said a thousand times so far this pregnancy (and considering I am only 7 weeks its quite alot), I am bricking it I am so scared (do you have that saying in America?).......

Or maybe it would just be niceec for a general buddy system to be set up (in an online forum I used to be on, everyone would pair up (except for me because I am always the 'OUTSIDER' lol) and basicly, once a buddy had had the baby, the other buddy would be contacted and then be able to post info for the buddy who had just birthed...... Something like that).....

Ok, babbling again..... Anyway, if someone can help me out please respond lol, I don't mind if you PM me about it if you want it to be quiet ya know???????

Thankyou!!!!!!

I kind of understand where your coming from. I don't think I ever had an eating disorder but I did just lose 50 lbs and I am starting this pregnancy 20 lbs smaller than the other two and I am terrified to put on too much weight.

My first I gained 60 lbs and was misserable. My Second I gained 35 lbs and felt pretty good but I think I could have got around a bit better. This one I'm shooting for 15 or 20. I'm considered overweight so a 15 lb gain is perfectly healthy for me.

For your height and body type how much are you supposed to gain? I know the books always say 25 to 35 lbs but every person and every pregnancy is different. Do you have an OB or Midwife you can talk to this about? Or a nutritionist even.

I think maybe if you take little steps and make yourself a plan of action then you might be able to feel more in control and it turn more relaxed, ykwim?

I hope this helps you and I'm really thinking about you. PM me any time.
