so I found out yesterday my baby is a GIRL! Im sooo happy! I went to Target on a rampage buying everything girly. Im doing some online shopping today and I gotta control myself. Im ok with what I spent so far... ok well Im excusing it since Im about 3 yrs late buying girls things and frankly I think I and babe deserve it but now I must cool it. Help me control myself. Im not going to have a shower this time around frankly because I dont have that many people happy for me so I know if I did no one would show up I dont really need anything except for clothes and the fun girly things like bows and ribbons and of course Id love to get a tutu or two lol but I must slow down on the spending because mama will be broke when babe is here is I keep spending like this!! I must remind myself I have months to get all the cute things and dont need to get them today... lol

Congratulations!!! I don't blame you for running out and getting some things. With DD I didn't start buying anything until the third trimester... but I do remember how fun it was!!

If I have a boy this time I will probably start buying stuff sooner since I only have girl clothes, and will likely not have a shower.

You can make really cute tutu's...tulle and a ribbon belt...tie the tulle over the ribbon, knotting the dangling ends, I've even seen some with little charms on the ends. I admit if I have a girl, besides wanting some home knit booties and cap (which I cannot knit to save my life) I want to make some tutu's of my own.

I guess I am the wrong one to stop you too, I have four boys...if mine turns out pink...I'll be asking what you bought and where lol!!!

Yes, I agree...slow down just a tad. I'm going to leave some spending money towards the end, just to help with that last long month of anticipation (at least, that's my plan now hehe)

Congrats!!!! I know you're ecstatic! When I found out my first was a girl, I immediately went to Nordstroms and bought 3 of the most girly, pink, frilly things I could find. I didn't care the cost -- I was SOOOOO excited. I totally know how fun it is!

I kinda hope this next one is a girl too, so she can wear the same adorable clothes (and I can get my money's worth ).
