just wanting to make sure it will not have a reaction .. can i wash with simple green and washing soda and then use vinegar in my rinse ?? do i even need it ?

I think it would be fine to use vinegar in the rinse. In fact, since washing soda has a high pH, the vinegar will help bring that back down in the rinse. Just don't add them together.

I've heard that too, not sure why it got started for dipe washing...<br><br><br>
Vinegar should be fine for rinsing though. I use it in every diaper wash. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">

Well, it smells quite toxic and the nose never lies. I just could not tolerate the smell at all. It works pretty well, though, I must admit and I agree with a pp that it should help to neutralize the pH if you add vinegar to the rinse.
