I finally successfully washed and lanolized three of my wool soakers. Mind you I have tried to lanolize before, but the lanolin ended up clumping up and now ds has one soaker that is very lanolized, but only in small blotches. :LOL
Anyway, I did it right this time. Yey!
So how long do I have to leave the soakers soaking in the lanolin. They have been in there about 45 minutes now, but I wanna go to bed.
Do I have to leave them soaking for 2 hours to really soak up the lanolin?
:
I am so tired, I don't know why I wash and lanolize my soakers in the middle of the night.

Oh, and also I used an inch of lanolin for each soaker. Is that enough? I couldn't even feel the lanolin in the water. Last time, everything was sticky and tacky. Ick! So did I put enough in this time?

You won't feel the lanolin. It only takes about 1/4" dissolved in hot tap water (any hotter and it makes a clumpy mess- BTDT :LOL)
You also only need to soak the covers about 15 minutes.
So get them outta there and get some sleep mama!!

Ugh...Thank you

Off to rescue my soakers and flop into my bed.

(Only to be woken up 15 minutes after I finally fall asleep to nurse my sweet babe. :LOL)
