Oh cuteness! Thanks for sharing!

I like the way organic sherpa feels at first, too!
I just have a hard time with fabrics not getting hard and crunchy after a zillion washes, so I end up getting attached to the ones that stay softer, over time, and I've had bad luck with sherpa and other long-looped-fluffy type fabrics like that, even the long velour, or BKT, etc... The shorter, smoother OV has lasted by far the best in terms of remaining touchably soft over time, so that's what we use!

Thank you! I have some ov too that have stayed soft and oc when I use downy advanced. I have short ov and I've never ventured into BKT territory, it's too towel like. Even hemp gets yummy with DA! I'm anxious to see how this will hold up. Stacy at BB's had it milled.

I don't feel the ov love. Sherpa is my favorite. The smooth side stays soft for a long time.

Angelica, do you have a second runner up for staying soft over time after a zillion washes?

Hmmm..... I guess OC fleece smooth-side-out stays touchable over time also, it's very... smoothly soft. Just doesn't stretch much (which gives a trimmer fit, but an overall 'less supple' diaper). Organic cotton interlock will stay reasonably soft overtime, and is stretchy, too... but I don't love it because it's just not that loveable a fabric for a diaper, for me --not super absorbant or yummy in any way (more like just a t-shirt).
Oh, and I'm anti-DA.
Poly/cotton velour blends stay not only soft but also plush over time, more like how they first started out, but when I rub those fabrics I get the creeps because I can tell right away they are a synthetic blend and me-no-like-that. :LOL
