Is there a site I can go look at that will compare these, and let me decide which one is best for us? Up until today, I didn't even know there was more than one model. I need two of them, to fit in a three-across situation, for my twins, and they need to fit next to DD1's Turbobooster. I think I need them to be 18 inches or less in width, at the widest point, and I need high harness slots because I grow tall kids. I'm looking at the Radian for a combination of narrowness, and the ability to keep a taller than average kid harnessed as long as possible.

I like www.elitecarseats.com. It doesn't have a "compare" option that I'm aware of, but you can click on the individual carseats and then click "Specifications" to get all sorts of dimensions (width of seat base, height of lowest harness slot, height of highest harness slot, etc).

All radians are the same width and have the same top slot.. the differences are padding, SIP, etc.
We have the Radian65 and an XT and love both... DS loves the wings on the XT because it's "nicer to sleep with mama"

I just bought the XL ST (or XS LT, whatever!). I'm going to buy another one next month (trying to spread it out before our new baby is born). I got that one because I always end up feeling guilty for not getting all the side impact and head impact protection, because I am in general a guilt ridden person

I went to the Sunshine kids website (I googled) and they had a demonstration of some of their seats.

Can you tell me how wide the 65 is? Not at the foot of it, but at the widest point? That is my crucial piece of information. Now, what about the XT?

Thank you, Mrs-Mama, for that site you recommended. I'm finding it really helpful. But they still only tell you the width at the base, not at the widest point, which isn't always the base...

They all have the same shell, which is approximately 14" at the base and 17" at the top.

Oh, GREAT, that's PERFECT! Now I just have to work out how I'm going to pay for two of them. That's a lot of $$$.

subbing since we're in a similar situation! Trying to decide which model to get. I hear you on the cost...we'll probably end up needing 2, also, and not looking forward to shelling out the $!

In the middle of the home page there are side by side descriptions of the 4 seats

Right now I'm praying we don't need 3. I have to fit 2 rear facing 1 ff in my '07 CRV. We have a nautilus, a marathon and a companion.

I had trouble finding a site that had the new 45lb weight limit seats in stock. Thats why I bought directly from Sunshine kids. I just got it today!!
