I have been tracking my temps and then putting the info into FF.

Yesterday it had the red lines and stuff to say I ovulated. Today, I put in my temps and it told me there was no longer sufficient evidence to suggest I ovulated... why?!?

I really don't understand what's going on. Although it's not on the chart, H and I have had sex EVERY OTHER FRICKING DAY this month!! If I didn't ovulate I'm going to be soooo annoyed.

I did not put much CM info onto the chart because I really haven't had much CM this month to notice, and I can barely tell what's CM and what's the result of all the sex we're having....

Can someone please take a look at my chart and let me know their thoughts? I'm so new to this, but I know some of you are real experts.

Thanks!

Sorry, but it looks like you didn't ovulate on DAY 17.

When charting, ovulation is noted when a sustained temperature rise, of at least 3 days, has taken place.

Had your temps been 97.9, 98.4, 98.4, (i.e. gone UP for at least three consecutive days) you then would have theoretically ovulated... but instead, in your case, your temps actually went UP and then BACK DOWN... thus, no ovulation.

Taken from FF:

Quote:
"The rise in temperature is usually about 0.4 degrees Fahrenheit or 0.2 degrees Celsius, but the rise may be as slight as 0.2 degrees Fahrenheit or 0.1 degrees Celsius or even less in some cases. The actual temperatures are less important than noting a biphasic pattern showing two levels of temperatures. FertilityFriend.com will indicate that ovulation has taken place once a sustained temperature rise is observed (at least three days)."
Hope this helps!

You may have Oed on CD 17 if it weren't for that CM confusing me... typically you O on the last day of fertile CM or the day after the last day of fertile CM.

Have you tried switching the setting on FF? Sometimes a Research or Fam detection setting will give you a different interpretation than Advanced.

Sorry if all that BDing was for "nothing" (just don't tell your DH that, whatever you do!
). Hopefully after a few more days of higher temps you'll get your crosshairs back.

BTW - if your EWCM is accurrate, you may have Oed yesterday or today. Better BD again just to be sure!!

Thanks for the replies. My temp went back up this morning so my red lines came back.. I am thoroughly confused. Will have to get the books back out of the library...

Thanks for looking at my chart.

Yeaaaa! That's good news!!!

Hopefully if your temps stay up, the lines will stick and it will be a clear indication that you Oed. Good luck!!

Yeah, temp going up is good! You just need it to continue being up there!

The thing with charting is, it's a great way to detect when ovulation occurs...unfortunately you can only really pinpoint it retrospectively (unless of course your body works like clockwork, and you know the signs, in advance, of when you're about to ovulate)

Looking at your temps today, and the jump from DAY 21 to DAY 22, ovulation may have taken place on DAY 21... it all depends on how your temps go over the next few days. The EWCM is also a good sign. If you've been DTD every other day up until DAY 21, you may be in with a good shot (assuming ovulation does take place on DAY 21).

Goodluck!

I agree CD21 looks like a likely o day with the EWCM and depending what your temp does in the next couple days. Maybe CD19 temp was just one of those fluke high temps.
