DS#1 is almost 3... and as such, is the king of choking hazard toys. How do you keep your elder child's toys away from your younger mouth-exploring young'uns??

With my brothers, unless their room was clean I'd let the younger one play in a separate room from the one they shared and the older's toys were in.

I try to keep them cleaned up in the living room, or on tables (the rule is that legoes are only used on the table, etc) and then I just keep a close eye. I've fished plenty of stuff out of his mouth, but never had a near choking incident.
