I'm excited. Y'all have me convinced now that wool soakers actually work. Yowzers though I don't even own any CPFs yet. Well, at least I can give wool a try now.

What do y'all think of the cover I bought? Anybody ever buy from this seller before? Why do I feel so nervous about trying out a new CD method? But I must admit I'm just tickled pink to try out wool!!

Also, I can have either a string or gentle elastic done for this wrap. Which would you suggest?

I prefer the ties, because I get nervous of the elastic over part, (cotton) getting stinky and not coming as clean being it isn't wool ya know? or if they use the straight rubber elastic, I would worry about it wearing down the wool, getting stuck on it and stuff, specially when wet.

I don't know if these fears are founded in anything LOL, that is just my fear and why I don't use elastic in mine, however I could be totally wrong, and neither of these things might happen (that is my disclaimer, don't pay attention to me, I could be totally off my rocker)

I hope that I don't violate the MDC rules by replying to this since this is my soaker! I just wanted to give a few facts so that you mamas can help Kesha decide whether to go with a tie or elastic (or both).

The elastic is not cotton covered, so there shouldn't be a washing issue. It is a very gentle elastic that stretches to 3x its original length, so no red marks on baby's waist. It is the same type of elastic that is used in socks. It is woven in after the soaker is knit, and we include instructions on how to remove the elastic (a snip and a pull) if someone changes their mind (or has a problem with it in the future). The tie is also removable.

I suggested that Kesha get both so she can decide which one she likes the best and take out the other. I personally prefer the elastic (less bulk) but completely understand why mamas prefer ties, or prefer the ribbing to do its job alone!

Momof3labs!!! I thought you looked familiar. I just recently did a BIN for one of your soakers...the Lg in cherry red/blue dye.
I just hope it fits since Ian has such a long torso.

Oh, and to tinkerbelle mama-I went with the tie. I previously had one with a tie and liked it so I figured I'd stick with what I knew I liked. ENJOY yours! I'm excited to get mine!
