My 18mo just went on overnights for the first time, and just took a bottle at bedtime then slept through the night. I think it will really depend on what happens. Will they be regular enough that if he doesn't use the milk on one night he can just keep it a week or two till the next time?
I think dd took about 3-4 oz in the one bottle, and the next day one or two more (but also she's a little on the sick side so I told ex to keep offering bottles. Whenever she has a chance she'll drink one!)
