I did it! I slid my final paper under my professor's door, thereby completing all requirements for my Master's in Social Work! I am so freakin' excited and strangely enough, a little bit sad. Hard to explain...could it be because I now have to get a job

Updates on other things....let's see. DW finished chemotherapy one week ago yesterday and has about three weeks until she starts radiation. Things are oging really well. It has become apparetn taht she will not ever have a biological child, but we are still excited to start our family around October. We were planning to start TTC in May, but have decided to wait because of the cancer and the fact we have both been in graduate school. We just kinda want to spend some time together, KWIM? So, we will start TTC in 5-6 months from now...

I accepted a position as a family and marriage therapsit at a great agency and will be starting on Monday, May 07. I am excited, but feeling a bit overwhelmed. It will certainly be a challenging job!

Now, I will hopefully have more time to spend around here since finishing school.

This thread makes me oh... so very, very happy. I am glad you are finished with school. That is simply HUGE. I am sorry your DW has lost that part of her dream, but it is just a part and the dream lives.

That's all such good news. Congratulations!
I cannot imagine the feeling of ever being finished! I'm currently drowning under a pile of uni work and planning TTC in July and working 3 days a week...I cannot wait for it all to be over.
Well done and all best thoughts and vibes for your DP.
