my 14 month old has a 102 degree fever weve done many baths and they havent helped so now we want totryr the onion..do you just cut it up into pieces and put in their socks? tia!1

Does she act like the fever is bothering her? Maybe try letting it run its course if she is not acting too sick.
I've never heard of onions... I have heard of soaking socks in vinegar and putting them on your dc for a few minutes.

thanks mamas. how long is it ok you think? shes had it 2 days now. she refuses to eat but shes nursing non stop. shes super cranky but yet still plays etc.

She'll likely get better faster if you let the fever do its work.

My 11-month old had a 102-104 fever for several days, but he acted fine - like it didn't bother him at all. The day the fever stopped, he broke out in the roseola rash.
