Well, I like my BJM longies and soaker. We have 2 pairs of longies and a soaker and I find that I use them a lot. In my experience they are SUPER soft but quite thin. They work great for during the day but I would never put them on DD at night. Even if we are out and about and she doesn't get changed immediately they start to feel damp on the outside. But, we EC most of the time at home and if she is wet I change her right away. So, for using around the house they are perfect for us.... super soft, well knit, cute, a good fit and not too heavy beacuse of our old-house too-hot steam radiators. I tend not to use the soaker under clothes (unless it's fleece sleeper) because it seems to wick easily. And I wouldn't use them at night.

So, I guess my long-winded answer is... it depends on what I'm using them for.

I got my first one (longie) in a swap.. i fell in love with it (but it was my first one!). It has a frog on it. I have since ordered 2 more. They are thinner than others, but seem well knit. My DS loves the frog. I think it is kind of tough to find embellished longies that have the design KNIT IN and not added to the top. Plus, they are readily available (although they are no longer doing coops) and reasonably priced if you are looking at buying a lot of longies (LIKE ME LOL)
