Hi Everyone! I'm looking for opinions on the newest style of Wonderoos. I had some of the original style and didn't care for the way they fit. I've read that the new ones have more snap settings, right?

What do you like/dislike about the NEW version?

If you've tried both the old and new versions, what do you think of the difference?

Thank you so much!

I've got the new style. There are two sets of snaps for the rise and two adjustment snaps for the legs (I think that's the way to describe it). I plan to use them on my toddler when I have enough inserts to get going. One insert wasn't enough and he leaked right through. I also hope to use them on our new baby once he arrives. I will have to get back to you and let you know how well they work.

Maybe it's my son, but they never worked for us. He is 11 lbs now and they still didn't fit him so I sold them supercheap. It's okay though. I'm a fitteds and wool mama.

I don't know anything about the old style, but most of my stash - two dozen dipes - is the new style. We've got both Wonder-fulls and JamTots inserts. I've never had any problems with them, but my mom (who babysat for a while) refused to snap the rise down and always ended up with leaks. She seemed to think they were too tight snapped down (I didn't). My son is about 18lb right now, and he's just switched to the outside snap settings...he's worn the rise on the second (longer) snap for a month or two now. He should be crawling shortly, so I don't think he's going to get a whole lot porkier around the middle
We're having some repelling issues at the moment, which I think are related to the Aquaphor our babysitter uses. Otherwise, they don't leak on us at all.

I've tried both the new and the old styles. The old style was *okay*, but I got a lot of leg leaks b/c the leg holes were too big if the waist fit.

The new style's second snap down has solved that problem. It doesn't seem to affect the rise on the dipe, but it closes off those leg holes so that they fit much, much better.

Wonderoos are the bulk of my stash. There isn't much (anything???) I dislike about them. Ducky buns are my preferred insert.

BTW, I'm using them on my 13 month old 22 lber. He was 9 months old when I first tried them, so I've never used them on an itty bitty babe.

I have both the old and new styles. I can't get a good fit in either one with my 6 month old but they fit my toddler okay. The older style has an extra row of snaps that are exposed when you turn the suedcloth down and those extra snaps are really seem bothersome especially if your baby might be laying on his or her side. All those snaps make it really "bumpy".

I have three and I'm pretty confused by the snap down feature. My daughter is tall, on the thin side, and 19 lbs. I've never bothered with the snapping down and we don't have any problems. I would say her legs are about thin to average. So, maybe her legs are just not as thing as I think they are. I use two Medium Hemparoo Babykicks as stuffers and don't have any troubles.

The jury is still out for me here. My dd is in between snaps and we are awaiting a growth spurt. My babysitter loves them though. She thinks we should ONLY have Wonderoos. LOL. I think because she gets frusturated with covers and diapers and diapers and covers, and liners and soakers. Etc. She is a sweet old 70 something woman who reminds me of Mrs. Doubtfire
Haha.

I have one of the older style with the one snap for the rise, and 6 with the two snaps. I was using the middle snap for awhile with my 4 month old, but have since switched to using the full rise. I have not noticed any gaping with the legs. The middle rise was too tight on him and he's maybe only 14 pounds
I think with the full rise it is similar to the rise on his medium FB.

I read on an earlier thread here that if you have the older style you can send it to wonderoos and they will add the extra snap for you if that helps.

We use only Wonderoos for weekdays at preschool. I have mostly the new ones and a couple of the old style. To be honest I cant tell the difference. But this is probably because Maxi is 18 months and 25 lbs so we use them on the highest rise setting. I am guessing the difference is only noticable when you have to snap them down for a lower rise on a newborn/infant?

I'm posting again because now I've been using them for a few days. My toddler is 30 pounds and very long-waisted. On him, there's no need to use the snap-down for the rise and he's on the 2nd to last set of snaps in the waist. These fit him very snugly and, with two inserts, he has no leaks.

Will have to get back to you on the fit for a newborn as we're still awaiting his arrival......maybe this weekend?
