O'Reilly to Jewish caller: "f you are really offended, you gotta go to Israel"

Quote:
O'REILLY: All right. Well, what I'm tellin' you, [caller], is I think you're takin' it too seriously. You have a predominantly Christian nation. You have a federal holiday based on the philosopher Jesus. And you don't wanna hear about it? Come on, [caller] -- if you are really offended, you gotta go to Israel then. I mean because we live in a country founded on Judeo -- and that's your guys' -- Christian, that's my guys' philosophy. But overwhelmingly, America is Christian. And the holiday is a federal holiday honoring the philosopher Jesus. So, you don't wanna hear about it? Impossible.

And that is an affront to the majority. You know, the majority can be insulted, too. And that's what this anti-Christmas thing is all about.

Even if I did believe in heaven & hell, I definitely wouldn't want to go to heaven. So boring. :yawning:

:nana:

But seriously, I wonder where O'Reilly would propose people like me (and sadie sabot) go. Maybe we should just be lined up & shot? Or locked up?

Well, you guys have seen the proposed (humorous) redrawn map of the U.S., right? The northern part, the West Coast, and most of New York and New England is theoretically going to be called "The United States of Canada."

The rest? The South, the Midwest, Texas...?

Try "Jesusland."

New capital: Crawford, TX.

let the scapegoating begin:

FOX hypes stories to claim "Christmas Under Siege"

FOX News is aggressively hyping several small controversies involving public holiday displays that don't explicitly mention Christmas in order to depict a widespread and sinister "attack on Christmas" by "secular progressives." Led by hosts Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity, FOX News anchors have returned continually to several minor stories whose theme is the purported marginalization or persecution of Christians. A closer examination of each of these stories reveals that they hardly constitute an anti-Christmas trend.
