Do affordable organic mattresses exist? The only ones I can find are just outrageously expensive.

I remember a while back someone posted a link to very affordable organic futon mattresses but I apparently didn't bookmark it. Does anyone remember this post? I tried searching for it but had no luck. ETA: The post was in Nighttime Parenting.
I'd rather have a "normal" mattress than a futon one, but at this point I'm okay with looking at either, as long as it won't break the bank.
Any suggestions? We're not set on size yet, as it's for our toddler (so a twin or full, likely).
And/or if we can't find one that's affordable, would an organic wool topper help reduce fumes, etc., from the regular mattress? Or not?
