I just read that most tree farms use tons of pesticides and colorants on their trees....colorants?!?!?! so, before I bring a tree into my home, I'd like to see if there are any organic tree farms around here or any that use the least amount of junk. We are retiring our 35yo fake tree this year to someone else in need of a tree and buying our very first (my first ever) real tree. I wanted to find one that is plantable also, but I can't seem to find any in MD.

any help is much appreciated! thanks!

ok, how about anyone like a certain tree farm in this area that we can get a tree from? I really want a plantable one, but if there isn't any like that, I would like any recommendations on which tree farm to go to tomorrow

We got our trees there the past two years...we loved supporting them and didn't mind that they were "less than perfect"...they were cute...short and fat!
