I have been using an Aristocrat wool cover at night, and finally have no more wet clothes in the morning!! I wanted to try the organic wool soaker b/c I like the way the waist and legs fit. I put it on dd, and about 3 hours later she woke to nurse as usual, and she was soaking wet under one of her armpits. It was urine. The cover was dry, and it was just above the waist band of the cover. I lanolized it before using as the instructions said. How did the pee come out? I've had lots of compression problems before, but never this.

Dumb question from me, but was part of her shirt underneath the waistband?

:

Your baby has super peeing powers.

Seriously, though, if the waist band of the soaker was not snug under her PJ's, it could have drooped down, exposing the diaper underneath. I'm assuming that the diaper underneath was wet up near the waistband? If the diaper was not wet, then it really is mysterious.

I have had some phantom wetting problems in one piece PJ's, though-- because unless they are very snug, I think the "excess" material can droop (especially if baby is sleeping on her side, the side that's down can get bunched under the diaper cover/soaker very easily). I'd try experimenting with the soaker under 2 piece PJ's to see if that's your problem.

Good luck,
