DD woke up a few days ago with spots on her face. I assumed it was an allergic reaction but when they didn't go away I had to bring her in because I run a daycare and had to make sure it wasn't contagious. The doctor said it was CP. She was vaccinated over a year ago(before I knew better ) so I figured she may not get them as badly. It's been a few days and she only has about 10ish spots on her face and a few on her fingers. They never did blister or ooze and they almost seem as if they've gone away.

We spent some time with another family two days ago and they have two small boys. Their boys have now gotten these spots on their faces as well and on their arms. The oldest is vaccinated and the youngest is not. The youngest has them worse. My dd is now getting them as well.

I know CP have an incubation period so I have a hard time believing it is CP since they have all broken out around the same time and 3 of the 4 were vaccinated.

Here's a picture of the rash when it first started on dd. It now has turned into what look like small pin pricks.

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y27...w/IMG_2147.jpg
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y27...w/IMG_2163.jpg

They do look like the beginning of CP. Even if it was mild due to the vax I'd think they're burst though. However, when my middle dd had the pox she had 1 pimple thing and it took 1 week before it broke, then a couple more devleoped over the next day or 2 and then she was covered head to toe in the pox.

I'm still not sure.... They definitely look dried up but yet I never saw them ooze.

measles? I've only seen them once but I was 4 or 5 and my sister & I kept trying to get away from my brother who had them so we wouldn't get them, so I don't really remember what they looked like.lol It could also just be a viral thing.
