I've been on edge all day. Lars and Dane have a check-up/cleaning tomorrow morning.

Dane had to have four fillings done last March under GA.

I am nervous that he will not be cooperative. When we went last Feb for the initial check up he loved having his teeth brushed. Ever since having the work done in March he'll cooperate sometimes, but other times I have to pin him down to get his teeth brushed. We're doing well now because he'll cooperate about 75% of the time.

I also think that I see another cavity that has developed over the past couple of weeks in one of the teeth that was filled previously. It is above the level where the teeth were filled. I just feel like crying when I think about it!

Just needed to vent somewhere. I can't wait for four more years to pass and those teeth will fall out and we can start all over again (hopefully with better teeth).

Cross fingers for us please!!!

FABULOUS NEWS!!!

Dane is cavity free!!! He was less than cooperative, but they were very good. Both the hygienist and the dentist were gentle but firm with him. They got the teeth polished and what we'd thought might be a cavity was staining!!!! The dentist came and examined him.

They were reassuring that they did not expect better cooperation from a just turned two year old and that he was doing fine! They worked fast and he was thrilled when he got to pick a toy from the drawer!

Lars had a good check-up too! With an A+ for hygiene and cooperation!
