We went in to the hospital Sat afternoon and after long days, longer nights, baby's dropped heart rate (the scariest), a near c-section, an episiotomy, a vacuum cap, and lots of other problems, Alexander Halden was born Mon night, Feb 26 at 8:49pm. He weighed 6 lbs 9.8ozs and was 19 3/4ins long. There is a long story with this labor experience, but the important thing is I'm healing well and he's nursing fine. We came home Wed night and here we are a week later doing great. Is there such a thing as postpartum enthusiasm?
