A day late, but that's ok.

How is everyone? Check in!

I had a confirmation blood test yesterday, so I'm officially pg according to the doctor's office. First appointment is scheduled for 7/26. Woop!

I've got some on and off nausea, and fatigue, but I'm feeling great otherwise. I had a great workout tonight, and I'm utterly and completely wiped now. Soooooooo ready to go to sleep!

I've been taking naps every day (well, passing out really lol!) Thankfully, DH has the week off of work so he can watch DD when I go narcoleptic

Have an email in to the midwife, but no answer yet.

Hi! I'm doing good so far- not too tired, not to sick. Knock on wood! I'm not insured as of yet (I'm uninsurable), so we'll see how it ends up. I'm sending out emails to MW in the area tomorrow (as that is my first choice) and then I'll be checking out how to get covered. My last baby was born in a hospital and I didn't hate it, but I'd like to be more comfortable with my practitioner this time.

I'm doing good so far..just slight nausea/taste, and falling asleep earlier at night..but then I have been waking up earlier in the morning as well!! I try to eat every couple/few hours and as long as I do that I feel good!! My lower back aches here and there, but I remember having that last pregnancy as well.

Other than the shock from finding out I'm preggo, my only symptom is a crampy uterus! It is not happy with whatever is going on in there!

Definitely very tired over here and have been going to bed (or at least trying to) earlier than normal. I have my first appointment next Friday (possibly Wednesday instead). Its so tough in some ways when you find out so early...the beginning can be so nervewracking (how do you spell that lol ?!?!) as it is!!

So glad to hear I'm not the only one with a crampy uterus (here and there). Oh and the tiniest bit of brown tinged discharge (sorry tmi) stopped...that's the def of implantation bleeding right? A day and a half of the slightest bit of brown tinged mucous right before AF is due??

I had that too. I actually had quite a bit of spotting during my LP this cycle. Spotting went away yesterday morning but crampy uterus is still here.

I am so tired right now that I don't think I will be able to drive the 30 minutes home w/out stopping for a nap! I didn't sleep well last night and no coffee this AM so I am falling asleep at my desk! Not good!

Add me to the 'sleeping at my desk' crew. Holy cow! I'm completely exhausted today. I'm going to have to go to bed earlier tonight, I think.

Nausea is mostly ok as long as I keep something in my stomach...and I can't stop thinking about the spicy V8 in my fridge at home. Must. Have. It.

I need to get my sleeping under control before the kids come back home on Sunday. Next week is going to be a beast if I am this tired! The three younger ones are going to VBS so that means we all have to be out the door by 8 AM. The way I feel right now...ugh. And doing it w/out coffee?

I just found out today, but definitely have been having a sore lower back and some cramping. It's so great that we can find out so early, but I agree that it also adds extra stress as well.

Does anyone else bedsides me allow themselves a cup of coffee still? I stuck to decaf for the first 10 weeks or so with DS's pregnancy but this time I'm allowing myself some. I've heard one or two a day is fine so I try to stick to one.

I stopped coffee cold turkey yesterday morning and boy do I miss it! I love coffee more than most things. I love the smell of it, making a cup, the taste...ooooh this is hard! I figured I would just drink it until any aversions kicked in and I wouldn't want to drink it but DH asked me not to so I am trying to respect his wishes.

I cut out the caffeine when we were TTC, so I wasn't missing it at all before I got pg. However, I'm feeling as sluggish and foggy now as I was the week I quit. I think the exhaustion is setting in.

I had a slight headache yesterday afternoon from no caffeine but I miss the coffee itself more than the effects! And boy is my brain foggy! I had my teeth cleaned this AM at the dentist and after they were done, the tech was trying to talk to me while I filled out the reminder card. That didn't go well! I put my last name as the street that I live on!

YES to crampy ute! My boobs hurt so bad. They are already so sad and deflated from DD (who is 12 months...yes, I'm in for a ride with 2 in diapers) but now they're just sad, deflated still, roadmappy with the veins, and tender.

It is 101 straight up here--not the heat index, the actual temperature--and The humidity here is such that your upper lip springs a sweat bead mustache instantly and you feel as if someone threw a hot, wet towel over your face and shoved you into a giant oven.

We are NOT leaving the house today! No way.

I am also not cutting out my one cup a day of coffee.

I'm trying to decide when I should make my Drs appt. The only babysitter we have is MIL and I am not really ready to tell her since our last one ended in a loss. Plus I need to pick a new caregiver and I am not too happy about that

I'm feeling ok so far, just really hungry. Mostly, I'm nervous and can't believe we're doing this again already. I'm keeping my caffeine intake really low (I did the math and I drink about 40mg a day), but I'm not giving it up this time. I haven't called the midwives or told anybody besides DH or done anything yet. Luckily, I teach and I'm on summer vacation, so I don't have to deal with anybody at work guessing too early or anything.
