We are having a traditional advent wreath with beeswax candles at our dining room table but we wanted an advent wreath hanging over our girls' play table, too. But we knew with the little ones and crazy cats we wouldn't be able to have real candles lit. so <a href="http://frontierdreams.blogspot.com/2009/11/wip-wednesday-preparing-for-advent.html" target="_blank">heres our solution</a><br><br>
We love it (still needs some work though like fixing our flames)<br>
I thought I would share in case anyone has the same problems as us <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/wink1.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="wink1">

Beautiful! Do you have any tips on the window stars? I've always wanted to make them, and I do have a cutting mat!

Lovely! We may have to make it sometime soon. I saw it in the magazine and liked theirs, too.

That is so perfect! I love it! Ds is really wanting a small Christmas tree so we may put one in his room. Felt candles would look so sweet on it! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"> Thanks!

Thanks everyone!<br><br>
Melaniee - our stars are still not perfect, I think it's something that comes with practice but the cutting board really did help me keep them all at exactly 3" by 3" (or 4" by 1 3/4" for the rectangular ones) HTH!
