We just got a six week old kitten on sunday, the woman I got her from said the mama cat had ringworm a few weeks ago so I took the kitten to the vet today. Yep, she does, either a mild case or just beginning. Anyway, how do I get rid of it? They couldn't give me anything because of her weight, she's a tiny little thing, she only weighs 0.8lbs. The only thing they could suggest was soaking her in this medicated bath stuff for 10 minutes several times a week. I don;t see how I'm going to keep a kitten in a pan full of water for that long.
Suggestions?

oh man, ringworm... well, we tried treating our cats, didn't help. eventually it left. don't be suprised if you get it. if you do get it, any kind of cream for athletes foot will work.

All I've read says that TTO is toxic to cats. All essential oils are potentially toxic to cats, so if you're going to use it, be cautious and don't let her lick it. Although it absorbs through the skin and into the whole body anyway.

My cousin breeds cats, and when we ended up adopting a kitty with ringworm, she gave us a (putrid smelling) solution to bathe her in. It was just a bath, not a soak . . . I would check a local petstore and see if they have anything for you. It smelled terrible, but it got rid of the ringworm. Oh, and it took both my mom and I to hold her down and give her the bath, so make sure you have an extra set of hands available.

Lime sulphur dip. It does stink. You can buy lime sulphur at gardening stores and dilute it... it comes at 23% and you want .5 %
