We still have a great deal of planting to do at the front along the street and on the side. And we have two trees to put in....still deciding what to get. The main transformation is complete, the rest is gravy.

What a beautiful job you've done!

You've inspired me, my yard looks more like your before. We just moved in and I've been putting it off.

I love your rocks. I can't tell: Is it a retaining wall or a bed?

It's a retaining wall with a bed behind it. Well, its mulch now but I think I'm going to put iris in that space. Not 100% certain yet. There's river rock below the wall and all along the front. The big rocks are actually chunks of concrete from an old broken up patio in back. Dh did a great job of positioning them so they don't look like concrete unless you look hard. I'm going to plant some things that crawl down, in and around the rocks at some point. I think that will look cool.

We just finished laying the flagstone to replace said patio this past weekend and it looks awesome. But I'm not doing pics of the backyard until its complete....another month or so

Oh and thanks for all the compliments. I'm really feeling quite happy and proud about the whole thing!!!

I just updated our before and after slideshow with more pics of the back yard. We have one more patio to lay (or we might just do gravel) and then it will essentially be done!

http://www.flickr.com/gp/[email protected]/5KyAse
