Before we left to go apple picking this afternoon, I set the breadmaker up to make wheat bread. So, we walked in at dinner time and found our home filled with the delicious scent of just-baked-bread.

For dinner we ate the bread with butter and honey, and sliced fresh apples, and chunks of cheddar cheese. It was very yummy!

"Bread, cheese and fruit" has become a cherished sunday dinner tradition in our family! We have homemade bread with seasonal fruit and melted brie or other yummy cheese.

Sometimes we really live it up with hummos, feta and olives or smoked salmon.

Simple and gourmet- the best!
