My 3 year old always comments on my belly, every time she sees it she says "wow it's getting really big"

Today she say it and said "wow, it's getting really really big. You are going to have a baby in 2 days."

I said "well, I hope not in 2 days, that would be too soon"

so she said "In 4 days!"

LOL - wouldn't it be freaky if she was right? I doubt it, but I thought it was cute.

At work the other day a co-worker brought her 5 yr old daughter into work for a few hours.

As I was chatting with the little girl she said

" wow you have a very big belly, I think there are two babies in there...but don't worry it wont HURT they come out one at a time"

Well after I assured her there was only one baby in there her next response was " Good its hard to feed 2 babies with your boobies and scratch your nose at the same time"

Not mine, but when my friend was towards the end of her pregnancy with her daughter, she told her 2 year old that she was going to her doctor, and he said "Doctor take [baby's name] out, put in car seat?" because they had just gone through the rigmarole of getting a new car seat for the baby.

My DD has asked me if I'm full because my belly is big. And she tells me my belly is very big, even though she knows there is a baby in there. She swears it is a boy. She is very determined to have another brother. She listens to the baby with her stethescope too.

I work with preschoolers, so I've had a few good ones.

Child 1: Wendy, you have a big tummy!

Me: I know, I have a baby in there!

Child 1 (to Child 2): What?!?! She has a baby in her tummy! That's why it's so big!"

Child 2 (to Child 1): Do you have a baby in your tummy?

Child 1: No! That's just fat!

We had measuring tapes in the classroom, and we were measuring all sorts of things, so my coworker said asked me to stand up so she could "measure my baby". When she put the measuring tape around my belly, a child looked at me with big eyes and said "You ate your baby???"

When I was pregnant with my first my 4 year old neice asked me how does the baby get our of there. I look at my sister who looks at her and says, the baby comes out of the Mommys vagina. Sh looks down, looks at us and syas. "There has got to be a better way." We cracked up and assured her indeed that was the best way!

My five year old came up to me this morning as I was getting dressed, put her hands on my belly and said "momma, I love your big fat belly" and gave it a kiss. So cute.
