I really hope someone has the answer to this!

I usually get mittelschmerz, an intense, sharp and quick ovary pain in whichever ovary releases an egg each cycle. This month I used OPKS and got my positive on CD18...so obviously we DTD much as possible...I didnt get mittelschmerz though

Now is CD25, and I just got my "mittelschmerz" in my left ovary, really intense...Ive been doing OPKS though and theyve all been very very faint negatives, and I have regular cycles so would NOT epexct to be ovulating now. Can anybody explain whats going on with my body and what we should do? Should we make love now aswell incase this is another egg being released? It would be so unusual for it to be, my period is due in a few days!

Has anybody else had this? Is it a preg symptom?

I had these really sharp intense pain after I ovulated. I had no idea what they were. Now after getting treated for IF, I found out I have 3 big cysts on my left ovary. This was where most of the pain was coming from. It could be LUF. Lutenizing unruptured follicle or an unruptured follicle whereby the egg was not released. I don't want to scare you but this what had happen to me. I was never aware that I was growing these cysts. I thought this was typical ovulation pain for me. Now I am on bcp to hopefully get rid of them.

I have ovary pains in the latter half of my cycle...but I don't know what it's from.

Have you been pg before? I didn't read your sig to see...

Early in both of my pregnancies, I felt pulling down by where my ovaries are, and it continued through the pregnancy, and it was ligament stretching.

So it could be a pg symptom, it could be weird ovary twinges, it could be gas bubbles...who knows?

You should be making love because it's fun and you love each other! as for the pain, there are lots of reasons, some are nothing, some are concerns. you will know more if your AF comes on time or not. if it does not come for a while and you test negative, you could have a cyst, but before you go worrying too much wait till the cycle plays out. good luck
