I remember this with such agony from my first pregnancy...you wake up and go to get dressed...and nothing fits right, overnight! You and your baby have grown and ruined your wardrobe possibilities. It means an immediate shopping trip or a trip into the scary depths of your storage, clothing stash to drag out bigger stuff.

And for me it's always the lower half before the boobs. They were about a month off if I remember right. So I was seeking out new clothes on a monthly basis starting at 8 weeks, first the bottoms, then the top, then the bottoms, and so on.

It's like one continuous surprise ride.

Yes I'm going to utter the dreaded words, the words that no young woman wants to hear.

Elastic Waisted Pants

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK

But seriously a couple pairs of elastic waisted pants will solve that problem...at least for a couple of weeks

That happened to me just last week at only 7 weeks along! And, of course, we're 900 miles away from home visiting family, so my wardrobe options are severely limited! Nothing like an emergency shopping trip for maternity pants.

Yea, was I ever happy I didn't get rid of those 5% spandex blue jeans my sister passed on to me. I just make sure not to look at my backside in them!
Below the belly pants work well, too.

I could'nt figure out why the underwire on my bra suddenly hurt... I thought it got twisted in the wash or something!
