on the tip? or where the pointy nipple meets areola? If it is the second one I'd say teeth. Ds used to scrape his teeth along my nipple there. There would be an indentation of teeth though when he was done nursing. If not then I'd say lazy latch. Maybe revisit proper latch on technique and see how it goes.
