I have been feeling a lot of pain today. More than usual. I feel like it is my ovaries. (The left one to be exact.) I do have a problem with ovarian cysts but I thought that you don't get that while pregnant. I could have sworn my last OB told me that. But my mom tells me you can have it anytime. Not that I am happy to have cysts but right now I would feel much better knowing it was a cyst than something possibly wrong with the baby. Could that be it?

In any case I am kind of trying to push fluids and relax a little.

I have had a lot of funny sharp little pains on either side down low that feels like Ovaries...with my last pregnancy and with this one too. I now know that what I am experiencing is stretching/pulling in the muscular and ligament tissue and it is not ovary related. But it is alarming for sure...especially on a day that it feels constant. Certainly something to talk to your mw/ob about...but I imagine it is the tugging/pulling/stretching associated with your growing belly and baby!

I hope that helps a little. I remember thinking "there is no way this can be right..something must be wrong" numerous times due to pain just like what you are describing and now I have a VERY healthy and energetic little 3 year old!

I had a hemorhagic (sp?) cyst during this pg. I had HORRIBLE SHARP pains on that side (right) and then some bleeding two weeks ago. My OB said that was about the right time for the placenta to take over and sure enough, on the u/s, the cyst had ruptured and was no longer greyish as an 'operating' cyst should be.

I hope you feel better, soon!
