ARGH! So we've been through almost a full week of horrible nights, and I am seriously sleep-deprived. She's been fighting sleep until 4 am and waking herself up continually. Tonight things FINALLY started to get better. I got her to go down for the night at midnight!!! So why am I up?

Because my heart is racing and I can't freaking go to sleep. :

This tends to happen to me when I get past a certain point of total exhaustion. It's like I am too tired to relax. Also, it doesn't help having to share the bed. With anyone. Baby, cats, let alone another adult. I just want to lay down by myself and sleep for a few hours, not even 8, just 3 or 4, but there is nowhere to go. :

It happens to me a lot, but not tonight because I busted out the vino tonight.

Yeah, vino would probably help. Or even cal/mag, but I'm out.

Anyhow, about 2:15 she started to get restless. I nursed her and she stayed asleep but was flailing around and smacking her lips in her sleep. Agh. At some point soon after that I realized that every single being in the house, including one dreaming dog, three lead weight cats positioned around the bed, a flailing 10 month old, and a lightly snoring adult male...was asleep. Oh wait, except me! And then I started to inwardly do this again Soon after she woke up officially and now we're all up, including the dog and the cats. They're all in the living room and I am trying to find my sanity. Have you seen it??

:

Haha, funny you should mention because that's what I ended up doing. He stayed up with her until 5:30 while I slept, then she came back to bed and all was well. And he skipped his class and slept until 11.
