ARGH! So we've been through almost a full week of horrible nights, and I am seriously sleep-deprived. She's been fighting sleep until 4 am and waking herself up continually. Tonight things FINALLY started to get better. I got her to go down for the night at midnight!!! So why am I up?

Because my heart is racing and I can't freaking go to sleep. :

This tends to happen to me when I get past a certain point of total exhaustion. It's like I am too tired to relax. Also, it doesn't help having to share the bed. With anyone. Baby, cats, let alone another adult. I just want to lay down by myself and sleep for a few hours, not even 8, just 3 or 4, but there is nowhere to go. :
