I am having the hardest time finding pants for my 2 yo. 2T pants are too short, 3T pants are huge in the waist.

I have found pants with button elastic on the German economy, but with the current dollar-euro exchange rate, can't afford to buy more than one pair. I have looked at 3 different PXs, and can't find pants with button elastic.

Does anyone have any suggestions for online stores that would sell size 3T pants with button elastic waistbands? Or just 3T for the super skinny? (She weighs all of 26 pounds.)

My DD is 2.5 and weighs 25 pounds, but is very skinny. We've had very good luck with Target's Cherokee brand of pants and also with the adjustable-waist pants that Target carries. The Children's Place also have adjustable waist pants, but they seem to run a little short, so we have to buy the 3T and just use the buttons. GL!

My twins wore mostly leggings at that age. Actually, they still wear mostly leggings. One of them is just too skinny for most regular pants.

My son wears Old Navy and Children's Place. He's still in diapers so he actually fits in a 2T. Diapers help keep his pants up.

I'm so happy for summer time. You can't tell if shorts are too short.

All my kids have worn Osh Kosh for this reason! Try the Osh Kosh overalls, too!

On the spendier side, but great none the less Gap and Land's End both have hidden adjustable waist bands in their jeans. Some friends of mine have had great luck w/both these brands for their kids when they couldn't find anything else, and they have great sale pages
Good luck,
