: I know how you feel!! I've constantly had problems with my pants falling down my entire pregnancy..! I've brought belts and all to help stop the problem but it still seems to happen....
: I go places with my little sisters and crouch down to do something and they always exclaim in a loud voice either "Butt crack!!" or "You have red undies on today!"
(Or whatever colour they happen to be..) Either way very embarassing...!!

Yup, all my pants (mediums) are too big and all my shirts (XL) are too small...

Yep, me too. I'm really having trouble carrying laundry baskets up and down the stairs. I'm used to propping them on my hips and now I can't. Thank goodness (VERY SARCASTIC) Mother Nature has added a lovely shelf for me in the form of an enormous butt.

(which also doesn't help with the pants situation...)

I have given up on pants. I have one pair that are now my designated scrub pants, church pants, doctor appt pants, grocery shopping pants and out -of- the-house pants.
The rest of the time it is my robe and nightie! And if it is warm, just the pjs.
I have one pair of Liz Lange pants from Target that just feel like they are going to slide right off! And they are really adjustable in a bunch of different ways, but I haven't found the right combo yet!

Then I have a pair of size 12 Gap pants where the thighs are too tight, but the EXACT SAME PAIR of pants in a different color and size 10 are perfect? HUH?

I'm still working full time, so I can't do a Homer and "Just say no to pants!"

At least you guys can wear your pants.
I got my largest pair of maternity jeans out last week and could not fit them over my now enormous butt. I had to get DH's largest pair of pants (drawstring no less) and announce to him that I was confiscating them for the rest of the pregnancy (i have already permanently confiscated a pair of his shorts

wow - guess I'm the exception to the rule.

Mine stay up just fine - maybe it's because mine are the older scoop panel style that goes over the tummy? I do notice them getting a bit snug in the hips though.

Shirts are a whole different story though - I think I have 2 left that are still long enough to cover the panel in my pants!

yes, last preg i wore more of the panel pants, and really dont like them as they make me feel like an old lady with my pants pulled up under my breasts ... plus my belly gets more itchy when the skin cant breath. i do have one pair that i wear, only cuz they do actally stay up better tho. other than that i have a couple cute pair of under the belly pants that i love other than they wont stay up no matter how i tighten the elastic do-hickies and whatnot. so mostly i want to live in my two pair of gouchos that i've gotten as they feel like pajamas, only my shirts dont cover my belly in them and that makes me feel weird at work. man! i wish i still had a butt too, normally i have one (probably gone cuz i havent excercised enough and sit for a job) but my belly is really the only part that has seemed to grow much -not complaining much- and i hear ya on the laundry basket deal, i'm so used to propping it on my hip and i just dont have hips anymore! man i can ramble at times!!!

I'm having the opposite problem: I can't get mine ON!
I gained 30 MORE pounds than this in my pregnancy with my daughter and I fit all my maternity clothes to the very end! This time? I can't get my pants on! WTF?! My hips are something like 6 inches SMALLER than they were with her, and yet I can't pull them up!? WHAT GIVES?!
Babs, you washed them on hot. That's my story and I'm stickin too it! It's all about shrinkage...

Glad I'm not the only one with pants issues!! Although I do wish none of use had to endure the slipslide or no-go. I'm down to one pair of jeans and a pair of capri's, everything else has gone into the "for my sister" pile. I had been wearing my thai fisherman pants mostly but now they slide down just enough to show a little tuft of pubic hair
: ....not exactly sexy...unless of course your my husband
I did pick up a pair of yoga pants (not maternity) which are soooo comfy but alas....butt crack is something that is just part of my reality now.....I didn't have much of a butt before and now with no hips to....oh dear!! I think I'll end up one of those old ladies who's back turns into their legs.....flat butt is my destiny!!!

I hear you about "flat butt"!!! I still have my hips.... Well just. Everything minus my stomac is the same.... My pants STILL won't stay up
: I was hoping with the pregnancy I'd gain some on my butt to keep them in place a little better but no luck
My pants not staying up may have something to do with the fact they're low cut (ALL my pants are I can't stand stuff thats not) but still so annoying!! I wear pj pants round the house, only put on a pair of normal pants if I'm venturing into the real world... Just not comfy otherwise

Heh, I wore my PJ pants to do errands today. And even then I was still pulling them up and pulling my shirt down after getting out of the truck each time. I am SO not someone to go out in PJ pants, but I really don't care at this point. Putting on jeans would have ment that I'd have to take off AND put back on my shoes and that is just way too difficult. Not happenin.
I hardly have ANY clothes left that fit me at this point. I had a pants emergency during my last week of work that had me cracking up in the stall and nearly wet myself. I had on a pair of non-maternity drawstring pants, and I guess I tangled the knot up but I tied it really tight because I didn't want them to fall off at work - so here I was in the bathroom, desperately needing to pee with a tangled knot that I couldn't see because it was below my big belly, and it was tied too tight to just slide the pants off my hips!
I swear I managed it with milliseconds to spare hopping around trying not to pee and laughing at how absurd the whole situation was!

In my best Homer Simpson impression: "Don't you just hate pants?"
