Hi there!
I am presently nursing my 8 mo and my dh and I started the clense . For those who don't know what it is, www.curezone.com. The clense is a tincture of cloves, black walnut hulls, and wormwood.I just read on kellymom that wormwood should be avoided when nursing,
anyone know why? i can't find the reason anywhere.

Thanks sooo very much!

Wormwood is what gets you high in absinthe. I would assume that it is not good for babies, as absinthe is banned as a drug in the us due it's wormwood content.

I just googled it and found this article which has more to say about wormwood in absinthe. http://www.gumbopages.com/food/beverages/absinthe.html

Cleanses should not be done when pregnant or nursing.

Your body let's the toxins pass to the baby through the placenta or breastmilk.
