Let's have a party for Amywillo and Ravin. These lovely ladies are hanging in there waiting for their bundles to arrive. I have somse raspberry leaf tea to offer you. I can also give you heating pads for your backs and I'll even pull out a couple of extra ones for your wrists, Amywillo. Hang in there ladies. We are waiting with you.

I hate to be a bad hostess, but I need to take the kids minature golfing this evening. Just thought I'd get the party started.

Hopefully Ravin and Amywillo won't be able to attend, because they will be busy doing other things.

I wish we could just drink lots of this. :LOL Thinking of you two often...keep hanging in there...our babies WILL come!

Speaking of, where is Ravin? She hasn't posted to the equinox thread since early this morning, and it sounded like things might be moving along...

Can i officially nominate Mamaley to the guest of honor position, too? Going past the due date can just be rough! Maybe the rest of us pregnant ones should just declare our due dates 4 weeks after our presumed ones!

Happy labor vibes all!

Okay mamaley and anabean, I have brought some leftovers from the Vietnamese restaurant that we went to for dinner tonight.

I am due in January and everyone is asking me what my due date is already. I just say the end of January, so that I don't focus on a date. I learned not focus on a date when I was overdue with ds#1.

I hope all of you very ripe mamas are getting a chance to go for some nice walks which are followed by putting your feet up and pampering yourselves.

Here's hoping the birth
comes to visit all of us overdue mama's soon....when she is done at Ravin's house, where we all hope she is right now!!

Wishing you both patience and extra love to yourselves and your loved ones while you wait!! Trust in your body and baby and all will be well. We are all just being shown who is REALLY in control here, right!! Our little precious babies! I also wish you both great prostaglandin sex with fabulous orgasms and lots of nipple stimulation, lots of RRL tea laced with EPO and contractions galore that lead up to wonderful beautiful quick and easy births of your dreams!

blessings

<<<how we used to do it back in the day (before children)

Now a party is getting the kids to bed early, a beaker of wine and some cheese, some natural prostaglandins if we're lucky and falling asleep in the middle of a conversation!

Whatever your style, hope some of these babies get born soon!

I went to playgroup today. I figured not much would be happening. Periodically I get a little pain in my back, or a very heavy downward tugging sensation in my pelvis when I walk. I've been having that for over a week, however. I'm hungry all the time, but I'm feeling kind of sick right now. I took a "brisk" walk on the treadmill and it was feeling slightly painful, but I figured that was a good sign so I kept it up for as long as I could. I only walked for 20 minutes--that's about as much as I can handle in one interval on the treadmill these days. If I walk outside, I walk slower but longer.

I keep thinking I have to poop, and sometimes I actually can!

I should try and have sex, but I'm too tired. Why am I online? Don't know exactly, but I'm washing sheets right now. I decided maybe I needed to engage in some nesting activities, so I just cleaned the bathroom sink and floor.

Drinking iced tea right now which is a mix of RRL and peppermint.

Thought I'd come along to the party - lots and lots of labour vibes to all you mamas in waiting. I was 12 days 'late' with dd2, so I can sympathize...

The good thing was - when dd2 did decide to come out, she came out quickly (labour was just over 2 hours start to finish, and really wasn't bad at all).

Here's hoping the same for you, Amy and Ravin (and all the other mamas still waiting).
