The pregnacy of my 4th child was a very difficult experience. Moving 6 hours away from home, then moving again due to DH job 2 months before her DD. Mixed into that a difficult pregnacy and a even more difficult delievery which resulted in 2 weeks NICU.

At the time even though I could feel myself "losing" it I decided I was more dedicated to nursing her.

She will be 2 in Sept. and is weaned except at naps and bedtimes.

I dont even know where to start in seeking help.

Any advice?

What do you think you need the most right now? What's the biggest barrier in your life? What are the grey days like for you?
I'm just full of questions for you this morning. Sorry, but I wanted to get more information before I try and help!
Hang in there!

I was still terribly depressed when my #3 baby turned 2...I had weaned him hoping that would help...it did not...Later I simply decided to pull myself together for their sakes...I decided that they needed and deserved a mother who was there for them and whatever was bothering me, did not matter to them...so I decided to become the best mother I could be...I exercised and made sure I took my vitamins and ate on a regular basis...I kept to a schedule...this was good because I was afraid I would die...hope you can pull it together also...I had no support network...I could not even put my finger on what was bothering me...I just decided enough was enough...seven years later I found myself pregnant again, #4, and terribly afraid that I would have PPD again...I did not because, I think, DH stayed with me the whole time, so I was not alone, and got a prescription for thyroid medication and I ate lots of chocolate!

Good Luck and let us know how you are...
