It is a beautiful day here and am aching to get out of the house and do something. Our local park has gotten a bit boring for the girls so I am looking to switch it up. I don't know what days the Zoo and Omsi do their free/low cost stuff so any idea's on what we could do or where to go that they will have fun that is very low cost or free? BTW They are almoust 3 and almoust 2 years old.

I know the zoo does $2 Tuesdays on the second Tuesday of each month.

Some other suggestions...

other neighborhood parks (also Washington Park's playground...very big play structure)
apply for low income membership at the Children's Museum/OMSI
walk downtown
ride MAX/streetcar/tram
farmer's market on Saturdays (not low cost shopping but low cost atmosphere)
first Friday of the month through May the Southwest Community Center has Family Fun Night where admittance is $2/person (great swimming)
when not so nice, indoor parks
climbing on the train outside the World Forestry Center (between Children's Museum and zoo)

I know there are more...if I think of them today I'll be back to post more.
