Has anyone ever made pecan pie with soaked nuts? How did it turn out? I am a bit apprehensive about soaking them (making the nuts too soft). If someone has done this, or made any kinda of pie with soaked nuts I would like to know how the pie turned out. (I know some of the cooking I'm going to do for the holidays will fall out of the TF guidlines
