My sister and her 9 week-old son are staying here for about 5 months and need a pediatrician to see while they are here. We see Dr. Tellerman but he does not accept Tricare. We live near Hampden so someone in Baltimore City would be preferable. If that's not possible, second best would be a pediatrician in or near Northwest DC. Does anyone have any recommendations for a pediatrician who accepts Tricare in Baltimore or NW DC? My sister is less concerned about vacc related issues, just wants someone who is a good pediatrician (and takes her insurance)!

thanks in advance for any help!

Thanks! Do you have experience with them? Do you recommend anyone in particular at that office? Feel free to PM me if you prefer...

I like the practice and we have seen several of the docs there- they are all very nice. There is an allergist there too, if your nephew has any allergies that makes it very convenient. The location is also very convenient. It is a very busy practice. My only complaint is that I would often spend a lot of time on hold when I would call. (When we got there for appointments, we were often taken right back.) We are at another practice now (b/c my boys ped. retired) and the wait time is still long so maybe that's just par for the course at a multi-doc practice. *shrug* You can PM me if you have any specific questions.
