Hello Ladies,

I just found this board and LOVE IT!

Question: I am 26 weeks pregnant with my second and have been having a ton of pelvic pressure and pain. So much so that it is really difficult to walk. It has just come on in the past couple of days. I don't remember anything like this with my first (10 years ago) but it was a long time ago so who knows.

Can anyone recommend exercises or stretches for relief???

Thanx

Yep, chiro. This topic get brought up regularly. You are not alone I am very familiar with this problem.

Try searching the forum for pelvic pain, pelvis, chiropractor, etc. Any related words. You should find a ton of threads - but they all say about the same thing - Chiropractor!

Feel better
I'm glad to hear this.. I'm only 15 weeks and have had really bad tailbone pain almost from the beginning. The last two weeks have added another pain thats harder to explain -- like a really bruised crotch, but not a surface bruise as the skin/tissue isn't sensitive.

My first thought was to hit up a chiropractors office and will be finally calling one this week for some relief!

ITA with chiro care during entire pregnancy!!!

One thing you can do to help relieve some, maybe most and possibly all pain is a BODY PILLOW.
I had horrific pain during pregnancy with #2. I truly felt like a wishbone being pulled apart. My pubic bone would 'pop' when I rolled from one side to the other in bed. There was many mornings that I seriously was afraid to move cause I KNEW how badly it was going to hurt.
I got a body pillow and began sleeping iwth it between my legs, YOU HAVE NO CLUE THE RELIEF I GOT FROM JUST THAT!

Warm wishes.

Thank you ladies. I am off to the Chiro this week for sure!

I did a search for SPD and found other resources. In reading the symptom this is TOTALLY what is happening with me. Once I read about the roll over in the night I knew it was me. I have to wake my partner in the night and have him almost turn me onto the other side. The pain is so extreme. I thought I was just being a wimp...now I know! Best of luck to others, I will provide a full report after my appointment
