We're looking for a homebirth midwife here in Seattle (I'm in the U-district specifically). I had a homebirth in 2007, but that was in Tri-Cities and loved it. I won't go back to the hospital, I won't!
Please - any personal recommendations would be wonderful.

I talked to Cynthia Brown a week ago in my quest for a midwife. She has been highly recommended on here and she sounded fabulous when I chatted with her. Unfortunately she will only do births in Seattle, so I can't use her. But, you might be able to. http://www.midwifeseattle.com/

I really enjoyed my experience with Beth and Geraldine at Rainy City Midwifery. I ended up transferring to the hospital after 34 hours of active labor, and they stayed with me.
