Apparently, then, Merck is not the only drug company misrepresenting/lying about their products. This seems to be an industry wide problem, don't you think?

But they are both still making vaccines!

I think drug companies really like vaccines for two reasons.
1) No liability in the US and very little liability elsewhere (not sure why, but that seems to be how it works).
2) Vaccines may come off patent, but except for India and Japan, other companies/countries rarely seem to start making them. They are expensive to make? Or tricky to make? Or hard to get licensed? Also, because of serotype replacement, the big companies can just keep adding more serotypes and the generic folks can't catch up.

Do you think Nigeria is using Pfizer's corona virus vaccine? I know Zimbabwe did not and their president is dead. Nigeria appears to be a place that drug companies test their new products without consent.

.

The state of Kano in Nigeria sued Pfizer $75M, an out of court settlement. They seem to have more rights than American citizens!

The company says it intended to renew its application following results of a global pediatric trial that was already underway.

But the drug maker never had the opportunity. After approving Trovan for 14 other uses in 1997, the FDA advised Pfizer to pull the drug entirely--two years and more than 2.5 million prescriptions later--citing reports of liver damage in the U.S.
And you cannot sue now either - anyone - You can’t sue Pfizer or Moderna if you have severe Covid vaccine side effects. The government likely won't compensate you for damages either
