Wondering about which hospitals in the valley are midwife friendly and which are not? I'm just starting my research, and although we're not ruling out a homebirth, I'm interested in looking at all my options. TIA!

I know that there are midwives who attend births at Phoenix Baptist hospital, and I believe at John C. Lincoln as well- (both in Phoenix).

I had my vbac at Phoenix Baptist with the midwives from Bethany Healthcare. As far as a hospital birth they would be my first choice again.

Though I don't know for certain, based on my great birth experience at Chandler Regional, they would probably be very open. (they made comments like "We wish more women would make decisions like you to not circ and deliver natural")
