I finally found a great pediatrician for DS, but I need a doctor too! Does anyone have any recommendations for a family practice or general practitioner for adults? I'm not happy with my former dr--she's always too rushed, doesn't really listen to what you say, etc. Anyone have a doc they really love? I live in Evanston, so anything on the north side of Chicago or near north burbs would be great.

We started going to Dr Ettner in Evanston and are really happy with him. We first took DS and DH is going there now too.

Seconding Dr. Ettner in Evanston. Like the pp, we first took DD there and my husband switched to him from his doctor because he liked him so much. I haven't officially switched because I like having a woman doc/midwife for my well woman care, but I've seen him for the occasional bout of mastitis and a weird spider bite/rash on my back last summer.

He's great about squeezing you in on a weekend if you've got something that can't wait until Monday.
