Does anyone know of a good instructional book or DVD on learning piano? I'd love something for true beginners. We have a book now called "You Can Play Piano" Amy Appleby but I find it kind of tough after the first few pages.

Of course I plan to get my children professional lessons in the future but money is tight right now and we can't afford anything else so we are looking for something we can do at home.

I've been doing "My First Piano Adventure" with my DD and we LOVE it! It has a lesson book, an activity book, and a CD. It really has so much information in it, and it all cost around $16 for both books and CD. IMO it was a good value. This book was highly recommended by piano teachers as the best book for very young beginners like my daughter. This is geared for ages 5-6.
