If you lived next to me, I would totally give you this jar of sauerkraut that I've been trying to hide in the back of the fridge. Sounds like it might find a good home with you.

i am making my own half pickled cucumbers-one of my favorite things to eat of all times!

and when im not pregnant i LOVE pickled herring. So im grosser than you


i love everything pickled!!!

How do you make your pickled cucumbers? I love them! I love the Japanese type that are sliced super thin but any will do!

its so easy! i had no clue how easy it was and i was on the phone with my mom not too long ago and she told me how:

Layer pickling cucumbers with dill and garlic cloves in a glass jar. Boil water and salt it. About 2 tablespoons of salt per 1 liter of water.
Then take this water once it has started to boil and pour it into the jar over the cucumbers. Thats it, can you believe it?
You then just let it sit there (cover it) and dont refrigirate for 24 hours. Then refrigirate. You can eat them next day and the longer they stay in there the saltier they get!
