Pittsburgh Dentist.......need Help!!

Hi I'm in Pittsburgh and I need help finding a dentist for my children.
Our last one turned out to be an EVIL man. The policy there was NO PARENTS going in the back. They SEEMED nice but my daughter (6) got nervous the last trip and started to cry, he asked me to come back and he was very unkind and uncaring and made her cry more. He yelled at her and really scared her. He was a younger guy around 30, but has traumatized her. We left and never went back. The guy was a nutball!!
What i need is a dentist who is SUPER FRIENDLY and allows Mom to go back. And is gentle. ANY suggestions please!!

Check out the database at the PghMamasNetwork YahooGroup. The mamas there suggest doctors/dentists/practitioners that they do/don't recommend. I haven't tried any yet (we're looking for a mercury-free, gentle dentist ourselves), but there are quite a few suggestions there.

Sorry your daughter had such a bad experience! Sounds awful.

We go to Dr. Gleason in Regent Square. They are awesome. Totally kid friendly. We got the recommendation from the PghMammasNetwork. Our other dentist was a nightmare and did unneccessary work!
