<p>Oh, my goodness. What an experience! Please, please check out the MDC "healing after birth trauma" forum if you ever feel you need to - even if it's months and months away. It took me a very long for the fog of caring for a newborn to dissipate enough for me to start processing/angsting over my birth experience (which sounds like a walk in the park compared to yours!) - so please, don't feel it reflects badly on your love for your daughter if you need to grieve or do some counselling or whatever.</p>

<p>She is gorgeous. :) My two-year-old came by as I was looking at the photos (and sobbing a bit - I'm pregnant!) and went "Awwww, a <em>nice</em> baby! She's got a nappy on!" in tones of great delight.</p>
