Maybe all you experts can help me since I have never gardened and did not know how to search google for the info I need. I want to plant a tree with my husband for our anniversary. The problem is, that we are moving in a month and a half. Would it be possible to buy a tree and have it as a house tree and then take it with us when we move and plant it then? Any idea how to go about this or what type of tree to buy if I can do it? Thank you for all and any help!

Personally, I would wait to buy the tree. Buy a gift certificate to a good garden center in your new area for the day, and use it to buy the actual tree when you move. That will be a better time of year to plant a tree, anyway, and you won't risk stressing the tree out in the meantime or damaging it in the move. Also, if you are moving to a different area altogether, you'll have the benefit of local experts who can help you pick just the right tree.

Great idea, though!
